Service Providers Luxiris were challenged with developing a real-time schedule display at the United Nations COP-16 conference dedicated to combating desertification. The schedule was to be displayed on multiple screens at the conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, using state-of-the-art technologies to ensure real-time updating and dynamic visual presentation.
The core of this digital signage solution, as outlined on Luxiris' website, is an HTML animation developed specifically for the event on the Singular.live platform. A central PC is responsible for playing back this animation and redistributing the video signal to all the screens throughout the conference site.
Integration and workflow:
Scheduling data is sent via a specifically formatted Excel file, stored on an SFTP linked to an AWS S3 service. An AWS Lambda function is triggered automatically when a new file is detected, processing the data and calling Singular.live’s API to update the display in a matter of seconds. This fully automated process ensures that the information displayed is up-to-date, with reduced technical maintenance.
Luxiris deployed Singular.live to deliver a successful, real-time schedule display system at COP-16. Within a remarkably short timeframe, Luxiris was skillfully able to create an automated, client-tailored solution with Singular’s web-native customization capabilities and seamless integration with AWS.
