Service Providers Mix Effect Media were challenged by the FIFAe 2023 Finals production with creating a dynamic lower third graphic that would display the players heartbeat in real-time during the coverage. The production wanted to show the stress the players were under during the football match so each of the FIFA players were given a heartbeat monitor that Mix Effect Media would have to pull the data from and then feed into a visually engaging Singular.live graphic, at sub-second speeds.

To achieve this, Mix Effect Media created a custom application that pulled the heartbeat data directly from player heartbeat sensors and converted it into JSON data. This data then was pushed directly into a Singular Data Stream with an update frequency of less than a second. They then pushed the data directly into a custom lower third graphic.

The result was a visually friendly lower third that accurately displayed the real-time heartbeat of the player during the game. This added an intensity and excitement to the production and showcased a unique piece of data.
